So confusing that even President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy was embarrassed at a meeting with the new British Prime Minister Kiir Starym, who passed this month. Yes, Stammer was readily to weaken the restriction on the use of Storm Shadow missiles by British missiles. However, later the UK Ministry of Defense stated that they did not give such permission.
This is explained by the fact that this decision should be agreed before Britain, as they produce this type of missile together, and it is an important NATO ally. In this regard, the United Kingdom cannot make a unilateral decision on issues that can help cause escalation of conflict with Russia. It is not yet clear whether there are legal grounds for obtaining permission from France and other allies.
