They find and attack goals: Iran boasted "smart" drones-Kamikadze Shahin-1

The novelty of the Iranian defense industry is very reminiscent of American Switchblade-600 ammunition. Iran's army presented its latest chahin-1 drone-chamber, during the commissioning ceremony of the Dillman Dillman helicopter on November 27. About it reports Defense Blog. Shahin-1 is an autonomous bargage ammunition designed to detect, track and damage the goals specified by the operator.

Judging by the photos published, it is arranged almost in the same way as the American Switchblade-600, has an oblong housing with a warhead and two pairs of complex wings. In the folded state, one pair is located on top and the other is from the bottom of the body. Detailed specifications are not revealed. A container installation is used to start the drone, similar to the UAV installation Meraj-521 and Sina.

According to Defense Blog, it shows Iran's consistent approach to the development of drones. One of the most striking features of Shahin-1 Iranians call the versatility during operation. The drone was designed for deployment from various land and naval platforms to give the military advantage in various military scenarios. Such flexibility allows operators to adapt to different combat conditions and tactical requirements.

The Army Recognition website writes that the main advantage of Shahin-1 was high autonomy. It is not just a remote manned apparatus, but a smart, self -governing ammunition, capable of independently identifying and affecting these objects. This advanced function uses advanced technologies for autonomous detection and destruction of goals, which is a critical aspect in modern war, where accuracy and autonomy are becoming increasingly important.

The Israeli Information and Analytical Site writes that on the Iranian ship, Dillman is planning to install 12 container installations to launch Shahin. The destroyer was admitted to the Navy of the Northern Fleet of Iran after 6 years of construction. It is a 1400-ton ship, named after the Northern Iranian city. Its length is 95 meters, the width is 11 meters, and it is able to start torpedo during movement at a speed of 30 nodes (56 km/h).
