Over a thousand abandoned after shelling of cars will be removed from the streets of Kiev: where they will come

The Kiev Defense Council approved the evacuation algorithm of cars damaged during Russian blows. According to the head of KMVA Timur Tkachenko, transport is not disposed of, namely to move. Outhelded cars, which have accumulated more than a thousand in the capital of Kyiv from the streets of Kiev. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko on February 4.

According to him, the Kyiv Defense Council considered at the meeting the issue of evacuation of the cars left by the owners. "This is a pressing problem. Unclear cars are harming public security, cluttering passages for special equipment and cars of emergency services. They have a negative impact on the sanitary condition of the adjoining territories - they accumulate dirt and garbage," the KMVA chairman said.

He added that such cars pose a threat to children who can use them for games and cut into glass or torn metal edges. According to Timur Tkachenko, in a few years the number of vehicles left on the streets of Kiev reached more than 1,000 units. The evacuation will be based on a certain algorithm: the cars will be moved to specially determined storage, and if the owner wants to return the property - he will be able to do so by requesting.

"The decision is not about the disposal of these vehicles, but about the movement of cars to separate places where they will not interfere with the life of the city. In more detail the algorithm is publicized later," Tkachenko promised. We will remind, during a Russian blow to the ballistic missile on February 4 in the center of the city of Izium of Kharkiv region the building of the city council was injured. More than UAH 53 million was spent on its repair after the fighting in September 2022.
