"We need to build it up too": how Ukraine corresponds to Russia on energy objects - an expert

Rusi Corresponding Member Alexander Danylyuk believes that Ukraine should try to maintain a moral advantage. Therefore, the defense forces strike at those objects that are not considered exclusively civil infrastructure. Ukraine responds to Russian blows by its energy. Alexander Danylyuk, a corresponding member of the British Royal Institute of Defense Research and Security Research (Rusi), told this in an interview with Radio NV.

He noted that the defense forces are trying to give a symmetrical response. According to him, Russian blows to energy are a war crime, and also create huge problems for Ukrainian society, as well as for the Ukrainian economy. "We can say that we are trying to respond somewhere symmetrically by drawing blows in oil refineries, on transshipment, on port infrastructure. It is also necessary to increase it," Danylyuk said. He noted that Ukraine should try to maintain a moral advantage.

Therefore, the defense forces strike at those objects that are not considered exclusively civil infrastructure. "But, given the nature of how Russia behaves, somewhere you can somewhere, it seems to me, too, to move for myself," he added. Earlier, the AP stated that Ukraine has been striking in Russia for several days. According to an anonymous official with the United States, the enemy's military facilities are actively destroyed before the border crossing with Ukraine.
