Tax raising law is published: a military levy will grow tomorrow - Getmantsev

According to the chairman of the Finner Committee of the Verkhovna Rada Danylo Hetmantsev, the military fee will need to be transferred at a new rate for the last 2 days of November. The Ministry of Finance also says that the changes will come into force on December 1. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on tax raising on November 28-a record of this appeared in the card of the Law 11416-d on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

The law signed by the President "The Law on Amendments to the Tax Code for Financing Defense and Financial Stability" was published in the Voice of Ukraine today, November 28, so it comes into force on tomorrow - November 29, says Danilo Getmantsev.

According to him, this means that the military fee for the last 2 days of November companies should be transferred at a new rate. "Considering the term of publication of the law, it will come into force on November 29. Thus, the OT at the new rate should be kept in only 2 days of November," Getmantsev wrote. He also added that the Financial Committee proposed amendments for which new rates of military fees will be valid for individual entrepreneurs from January 1, 2025.

However, these amendments should still be supported by the Verkhovna Rada next week. The website of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine in the news that Zelensky has signed a law on tax raising, it is stated that the rate will be changed from December 1, 2024. "Tax law will not envisage the accrual of taxpayers" retroactively. December 1, 2024, "the Ministry's press service reported.

The FOP of the first, second and fourth group of single tax payers will have to pay a military fee from January 1, 2025. For them, the rate will be 10% of the minimum wage set at the beginning of 2025 - then it was 8 000 UAH. That is, for the month of the FOP will pay 800 UAH of military fee. The third group's FOPs will pay a military fee of 1% of the turnover following the first quarter of 2025.

They will not be taxed by military levy of domestic government loans, including military, social payments, pensions, scholarships. For servicemen and security officers, the rate will remain at the previous level - 1. 5%. The ministry also emphasizes that the military fee will be temporarily operating - by the end of the martial law in the country. On November 28, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also signed the Law on the State Budget for 2025.
