Great Threat to the Russian Federation: How and why the occupiers try to break Ukrainian grislda

Since the launch in 2022, Griselda has changed greatly, and with its attacks the enemy only helps to strengthen its protection, the developers claim. The system can interfere with the winter offensive of the Russian Federation. The Russians are afraid of the Ukrainian Griselda Intelligence System, which helps the defense forces destroy valuable objects of the invaders from the beginning of a full -scale war.

The developers told focus how the project works and how dangerous it is for the Russian Federation. On November 4, the Great Russian Telegram-Channel said that state and private organizations are completing work on the new interface of Griselda to connect this tool in the near future to the Delta Central Intelligence System, which allows the command to track the movement of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

"This new brick is a complement to the intelligence architecture that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine wants to complete before the inevitable winter offensive of Russia. Ukraine seeks to establish itself in a network -centered reconnaissance war - an area in which Russia is believed to lag," the post emphasizes. Griselda has developed and refined the Ukrainian NGO Iron Garden.

Its representative reported focus that the system began to work in March 2022, since then the team has increased from 5 to 100 volunteers, volunteers, military veterans, militaryly involved persons, sociologists, programmers and military experts. In addition, since 2022, the developers have added more modules for military, artillerymen, OSINT researchers and other units.

According to the organizers, the Russians have long been aware of Griselda and are actively trying to disrupt its work, including with the help of hacker methods. Cyberatics occur quite often, but the organization is reflected by cooperating with Ukrainian special services. The occupiers want to break Griselda to find out what information Ukrainians have been able to gather about the Russian army, and they also conduct similar attacks on other systems that now assist the AFU.

"It happens even that they just write to our managers - they are represented by the Fighter of the Armed Forces, at some point they can even be partially verified, but at the final stage we will find out that it is an enemy and here with his account begins a completely different story, which he does not know," - - - The Iron Garden representative shared. Russian cyberattacks cause problems, but at the same time help to strengthen protection.

Currently, the system has a powerful security circuit both on cybernetic (here was helped by specialists of the department of counterintelligence protection of the interests of the state in the field of information security of the SBU), and at the physical level, so that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation cannot damage the servers.

The creators noted that there are international security protocols that require appropriate physical protection of server facilities, including the need for geographical distance from the war zone and periodic migration - so the enemy will not be able to destroy the equipment with rocket strokes or drones. In addition, the military instrument must be protected from force majeure, such as power supply. "The system must work even if there is no light in Ukraine. Nowhere," the interlocutor said.

"Our staff are programmers, analysts, managers, employees, military. Approved relevant protocols for management on various cases so that the end user does not notice any Transfer to the system. " Griselda is a system for collecting, transforming, enrichment, analysis, visualization of unstructured intelligence data that a person cannot handle manually because of physiological restrictions.

According to the chairman of the Ministry of Defense Mikhail Fedorov, she processes thousands of reports from satellites, drones, social networks, media, broken databases of the Russian Federation and other sources, then structures and submits in a convenient form. The process of emergence in the system to its receipt is only 28 seconds.

According to the minister, Griselda technology has already been integrated into the Delta situational awareness system, as well as the applications "Armor", "Nettle", "UKROP" and "HISARTA", which are already used by artillerymen and tankers. In the future, the system will use other units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The developer team cooperates with several departments of the Armed Forces, SSU, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense.

Iron Garden has confirmed that Griselda is already being used at all levels of defense: from tactical to strategic, and helps fighters. The military is said to respond positively about the system, and the organization receives 2-3 requests daily for providing this technology with new units. "Grizelda" is not used by all defense forces, but not in all directions it is needed.

The project has successfully passed the examination of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, has the status of a participant of the cluster Brave1 and constantly expands its functionality according to the needs of the Armed Forces. "More than two hundred thousand groups of targets have been created in the system only in the last year. Developers. - "There are various sources and many file formats and data that need to be processed. It's all exclusively the enemy.

Open sources are also used and here, including DeepState. " According to the site, Griselda receives from Deep State UA a military version of operational data on demarcation lines that are more accurate. They help the operators of the system to more accurately track suspicious or abandoned equipment in de -industrial territories, check doubtful information, and increase the overall awareness of the Armed Forces about the terrain.

In turn, Deep State UA receives data that can more accurately describe the line of demarcation of the front in the civilian version of its map. One in a common project is a separate layer of civil awareness - "Pathogen". It contains a blurred visualization of the departure of the Russian Federation, which is processed by Griselda neural network to understand the scale of occupation.

In this case, the sources are not operative intelligence, and all flows of information are distorted and modified at the stage of clustering and do not carry military value. The official website of the project contains a report on achievement for 2022. It is noted that among a large number of messages, about 6-9% "convert to the target". Some information serves as an additional source for verification, the rest is scattered with the "black list" and other tools.

From March to December 2022, Griselda helped to identify 121 799 target groups, among them: air defense, armored vehicles, personnel, barracks, posts, electronic warfare and intelligence, artillery, planes and even missiles. The largest number of processed and transmitted goals in 24 hours is 1 354. There are other similar systems on the market, such as American Palantir, but Griselda is still the only such project in Ukraine.

But it has some unique features and advantages, since the creators work closely with the military and only do what they need "without SMS, registration, marketing research and focus groups". Thanks to the reviews, programmers understand that, how and where to add or improve.
