A Polish military expert Maximilian Dura said more about the new threat to the Russians who bear the tactical missiles of ATACMS and Storm Shadow. These weapons significantly increase the radius of lesions of key Russian objects such as aerodromes, logistics centers and ships of the Black Sea Fleet.

The author of the publication notes that the threat of blows up to 500 km (Storm Shadow) and 300 km (ATACMS) will force the Russian side to view the deployment of key objects. Airfields, logistics and command centers will be moved deeper into the rear, which will increase the distance for supply and operational management. For example, the base of Su-34 aircraft in Voronezh becomes risky, and moving them will need to refuel in the air, which creates additional difficulties for Russian aviation.

In addition, the use of these rockets with cassette warheads makes vulnerable airfields and planes on Earth. This can virtually prevent the operation of shock helicopters, such as KA-52, which, due to limited flight range, will not be able to effectively operate from safe zones. Also in the area of ​​reach of rockets are key objects such as the port of Novorossiysk, where ships of the Black Sea Fleet are based.

Strokes on objects such as rocket and ammunition warehouses can slow down the pace of Russian attacks, as rocket harvesting for large -scale raids is already up to two months. According to Durage, Russian air defense will be in serious difficulties, since Storm Shadow and ATACMS are an inconspicuous and high -precision means of defeat. These weapons provide a hidden access to combat positions, and they can only be detected at the time of start.
