The Russian Defense Ministry has recruited about 29,000 prisoners of hundreds of colonies - Roszmi

This is stated in the study of the Russian online publication "Important History" data by journalists collected on social networks, where relatives of the Russian military missing in Ukraine every day publish a request for their search. In these reports, relatives are called not only the names of the missing but also the numbers of their tokens.

After analyzing thousands of such publications, journalists found that in the penalty room, the Russian Federation or Storm Z Storm detachments could be recruited from Russian colonies. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation launched this project in February 2023, intercepting a set of prisoners to the war from Yevgeny Prigogine and PEC "Wagner". By September, the Storm Z Storm was over, after which the contracts for new waves of the Special Continent became indefinite.

Yevgeny Prigogin himself, we will remind, in June 2023 he arranged his "march on Moscow", and in August the aircraft with him on board crashed in Tverskaya region. Prigogine began a set of prisoners to the front in the first months after the start of a full -scale war in his Wagner PEC. Already at the beginning of 2023 the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation was engaged. Of the so -called "special contingent", the department formed the so -called assault company "Storm Z".

Like the "Wagnerivtsi", the RF Ministry of Defense Snavagers received pardon and after six months of service returned from the front home. Most of those who are fighting in "Storm Z" have received tokens with the "AB" series, show data studied "important stories". This series became the main one for them no later than April 2023, previously used for servicemen from the so -called "DNR" and "LNR". This number of tokens was last used on August 29, 2023.

Since September, recruiting in the colonies continued under the brand "Storm V", and prisoners began to receive tokens of the same series as other Russian military. AB-170001-the first in order of well-known journalists of numbers, which were assigned to the recruited prisoner. He belongs to Vasyl Dvirnik, whom the Kazan court in 2019 sentenced to 13 and a half years in prison for one of the largest cases against drug dealers: the gangs were seized synthetic drugs for 40 billion rubles.

The last famous room-AB-204931-was received by Sergey Selimanov, who served a term in VK-3 of the Pereleshine in the Voronezh region. In October 2022, he was found guilty of four theft. Among other things, Selimanov stole four lighters and eight cans of canned food from the Post of Russia. After that, he set fire to the mail building with the help of a stolen lighter and fled.

All found tokens, whose serial number exceeds AB-205000, already belong to the inhabitants of the occupied Russian Federation Lugansk and the region. In total, for the first six months, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation visited at least 108 colonies. Most of the FSVP institutions were previously visited by Wagner PECs, but in 19 colonies, the recruitment to the Armed Forces was probably for the first time.

Thus, the Russian army, among others, came from LIU-10 Novosibirsk, where prisoners are detained with the active form of tuberculosis. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation used for "Storm Z" the entire range of tokens from AB-170000 to AB-205000. Thus, about 29,000 prisoners were recruited in Storm Z, but this figure may be higher.

In conversation with journalists, some surviving fighters from the assault detachments said that representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation took groups of 150-180 people. The 43-year-old ex-prisoner Alexander agreed to communicate with journalists. He said that he went to war with Ukraine as part of the "Storm Z" after he refused to join Eugene Prigogine's PEC. Then he believed that the "scheme is unreliable" and in six months he would not be released.

Having gone to the war on the set of the Defense Ministry, Alexander and his companions were faced with the fact that they were left for the forehead for a month longer than the promised six months. So that they could not tell relatives, the command seized the assault with phones. As a result, the relatives began to look for him in themed chats to find the missing military. In the war, Alexander was injured and got to the hospital for a month.

According to the ex-prisoner, he was paid only governorate compensation for injuries, and federal assistance was refused to pay for 3 million rubles, since he had a "special certificate". He sued, but lost. Also, the former prisoners do not include insurance payments for injuries or death or certificate of veteran of hostilities, and their financial support could be several times less than that of mobilized and contractors.

It is known that "storms" return to the battlefield even after injuries and amputations. Former prisoner Alexander said that he was informed at the military enlistment office that he had signed not a contract for military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, but only a "consent" that did not entitle payment and benefits. According to him, "someone changed their minds. " Journalists say that since September 2023 the situation has changed somewhat.

But according to the new rules, the "special contingent" can no longer count on a pardon, and instead of the six -year "consent", they now sign contracts for a year.
