Everyone has to do their part of protective work so that Russian terror does not stop Ukraine this winter - Presidential address

I wish health, dear Ukrainians, Ukrainians! A few important things for this day. All day energy, rescuers work very actively in the Kherson region, as well as in Donetsk region - eliminate the effects of blows on energy. In particular, in Kherson today there were shutdowns through Russian bombs. Our repair crews are doing everything possible - as of now, in Kherson, the supply of electricity and almost in the city of water supply, except for ten homes in the Tavriya neighborhood, has been restored.

Regarding these homes, repair work should be completed tomorrow. We must be aware that such Russian blows will become more - on generation objects, over the network. This must be prepared. We will intensify the air defense as possible - as it is real in the existing conditions. Even more than real: we agree with our partners about such steps in defense that have not been used before.

But, in addition, many will depend on the readiness of local authorities, in particular in cities, on the preparatory work of energy companies and communication operators. Everyone must do their part of the protective work so that Russian terror does not stop Ukraine this winter. Just like on the battlefield, in all areas we should be as stable and strong as possible. There are new meetings in the schedule for a week, new conversations with partners to strengthen Ukraine, our protection.

We will also work that the reconstruction in Ukraine becomes more active. We also prepare our new steps to keep our safety in the world at a sufficient level. Ukrainian diplomats, intelligence, security forces continue to work to help our citizens who are in the Middle East: in Israel and in the Gaza Sector. The evacuation of Ukrainians from Israel is ongoing: more than 200 people have been taken to Romania, mostly women and children. New flights are being prepared.

Almost 260 of our people are now in the Gaza sector are known. Departure from there is blocked for citizens of all countries, but we work with partners to evacuate our citizens. Ukrainian diplomats are ready to help every citizen who needs it. Therefore, I turn to all Ukrainians and Ukrainian women who can be abroad to need help: at any time and in any way, contact our diplomatic missions abroad. And one more.

Every day, our cities and villages in border areas with Russia and along the front line suffer terrorist strikes of the occupier. And every day there is help to our people - it is very important. Whatever happening, Ukrainians care about each other, and the state remains functional. Do not overcome Ukraine because they do not overcome our people. And please support and thank everyone who works for the sake of people who protect their lives.

Our rescuers, doctors, nurses and medical brothers, our volunteers, police, utility workers, energy - those without whom there would be no normal life. Everyone, everyone is important.
