Promised not to supply military goods to the Russian Federation: EU removed 5 Chinese firms from the sanctions list

If companies continue to supply prohibited goods to Moscow, they will be returned to the appropriate list. The EU (EU) has crossed out five Chinese companies from a preparatory list of sanctions after promoting the supply of military goods to Russia in the PRC. About it reports the Russian edition of newspaper. ru with reference to the Hong Kong South China Morning Post.

It is noted that SCMP sources in diplomatic and high -ranking circles have said that three companies from China remain in the draft list of sanctions of the European Union. Initially, it was planned that there would be eight. "Five Chinese firms were previously excluded from the list after negotiations with Chinese diplomats in Brussels. The Chinese side has stated that these enterprises would stop resale of high -tech European production products that come to the Russian army," SCMP writes.

The publication also notes that three remaining companies were Russian, which work in China, so they are going to impose restrictions on them. At the same time, SCMP emphasized that if Chinese enterprises continue to supply banned European goods of the Russian Federation, they will be returned to the appropriate list. Two European diplomats have told reporters that this agreement can be considered as a verification whether Beijing would act honestly.
