The Mi-8 helicopter with tourists flew in the morning on August 31 from the site in the area of Vachkazhets volcano in the village of Nikolaevka, located 25 km. At the appointed time the ship did not work. On Kamchatka in the area of Vacachzhets volcano, the missing Mi-8 helicopter "Vityaz-Aero" with three crew members and 19 tourists on board is looking for a disappeared helicopter. About it reports the Russian agency "RIA Novosti". Another Mi-8 flew in search of the missing helicopter.

Another helicopter and terrestrial group of rescuers are ready to go on the route of the missing aircraft. However, observation from the air did not produce results due to deterioration of the weather, said Governor Vladimir Solosov. "There were two groups of rescuers from Vakachzhtsa and from the area of Nikolaevka village. The main efforts are now concentrated along the valley of the Bystra River, along which the helicopter was to move," he said.

The head of the region added that, despite the dark time and the deterioration of weather conditions, the work will be carried out until it is due to the risks to the life and health of the rescuers themselves. The board stopped communicating just flying from the Vachkazhets volcano to the village of Nikolaevka. He had to fly 25 kilometers, takes a few minutes on the road, says Mash Telegram.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation conducts inspection on violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of air transport. In addition, a criminal case was initiated after the helicopter has disappeared.
