From the front - crime: in Rivne region tried to sell a "trophy" Russian weapon

According to the SBU press center, during the searches, the security forces found a detonating cord with explosives, anti -tank weapons, ammunition and calasnikov of Russian production. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), together with the National Police, detained two men who tried to sell a significant arsenal of lethal weapons to representatives of criminality in Rivne and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. This was reported on November 29 at the SBU press center.

It is reported that among the seized items - a detonating cord with explosives, anti -tank weapons, ammunition and calasnikov machines of Russian production. Thus, in the Rivne region, a trader of "trophy" weapons, which he received through his contacts from the places of previous fighting in the east and south of Ukraine, was detained. He kept the samples of Russian weapons at home, and the delivery of "goods" to potential buyers was carried out on his own car.

During the searches, the detainee was seized: "Weapons were illegal to exacerbate the criminogenic situation and the loosening of the internal political situation near the Ukrainian-Belarusian border," the press center said. And in the Carpathian region, they exposed a resident of Kolomyia, who tried to sell three AK-74 machines and Stechkina gun with charges.

In addition, he found almost 50 meters of detonating cord with explosives, ammunition, mufflers to small arms and armor -piercing shells during the searches. He arranged a repository for the arsenal in an unfinished building near a private house of one of his relatives. Both defendants were informed of suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives). Now they are in a pre -trial detention center.

Investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of crimes and prosecute the perpetrators. The attackers are threatened with up to 7 years in prison.
