"We went, mumm": In Russian Orsk, people evacuate through the breakthrough of the dam (video)

Due to a sharp increase in water level in two places, the dam in the Urals broke. 4 thousand houses under threat of flooding. In the Russian city of Orsk, Orenburg region, on the border with Kazakhstan, there was a breakthrough of the dam on the Ural River. Local authorities are urgently evacuated by the population. The Russian news agency "RIA Novosti" informs about it with reference to a message from the City Hall. More than 4,000 houses and 10 thousand people enter the flood area.

People leave their homes in the Lenin and Soviet districts. Water arrives at high speed. The dam itself is flooded in two places. Sirens worked in the city - residents were warned that they needed to prepare for evacuation. Several villages and districts have been disconnected. Temporary placement points were prepared for people. About it reports Telegram-channel Baza. There is no information about the victims or dead as a result of the incident.

On one of the video on the social network, a resident of the flooded Orsk tells the phone what is happening. "All P *** t, we sailed, mammul. There, in short, full breakthrough. And we sailed . . . Tell everyone that the evacuation is full of 100%from the old town," the man says. The reason for the breakthrough of the dam was a sharp increase in water level. Initially, rescuers tried to minimize the possible consequences of the breakthrough.

To do this, they announced the local evacuation of nearby settlements, covered with technical mixtures of the breakthrough, and dropped water to the rivers. Two IL-76 aircraft with the experts of the Ministry of Emergencies flew from Moscow to Orsk. The Orsk administration announced the introduction of an emergency regime. We will remind, on April 3 in Russian Azov near Rostov-on-Don a fire occurred at a plant that specializes in the manufacture of polymer containers and soft packaging.
