Russia is trying to destroy the Ukrainian European Lifestyle; We will not allow this - the presidential speech at a special plenary session of the European Parliament

Dear representatives of Europe! Dear leaders of Europe! We are all Europeans, each and each of the hundreds of millions of people on our continent, we combine these two statuses - Europe and European leaders. This combination reflects that our Europe - modern Europe, peaceful Europe - gives the world. European Way of Life. European path of life. European lifestyle. European rules of life. When everyone and everyone matters. WHEN THE LAW RULES is the rule of law.

When states seek to be social and society is open. When diversity is value and the values ​​of different are combined with just equality. When the borders are unbroken but their intersection is not felt. When people believe in tomorrow and are ready to go out to the square to win their tomorrow. When there is only one barrier between the president and the protestor and it is an honest election. This is our Europe. Such are our rules. This is our way of life.

And for Ukraine it's Way Home, the way to your home. Now I'm here to protect the way home of our people. All Ukrainians, all Ukrainian women. Of different ages and different political beliefs. Different social status, different views on religion. Different personal history, but one with you all European history. Ukrainian European Way of Life is trying to destroy a total war. But why? To destroy the European path after the Ukrainian European way of life.

For each of all 27 elements of the European Way of Life. Twenty -seven EU countries. We will not allow it. This total war, which was resolved by Russia, is not only in territory in one or another part of Europe. Its threat is not only that there is a dictator with frantic reserves of Soviet weapons and feeding weapons from other dictatorships, including from the Iranian regime.

To be able to wage this war, the Kremlin sequentially, step by step, year after year, destroyed what we see at the heart of our Europe with you. The sacred value of human life was completely destroyed in Russia. There, no one is important to the authorities except those who inside the Kremlin walls, their relatives and "wallets".

All others for them, for the Kremlin, all 140 million citizens - only bodies capable of carrying weapons - weapons to Ukraine, weapons on the battlefield, keep others in obedience or be humble. The rule of violence and humility - here are rules there instead of the right.

The Russian regime not only hates anything, any sociality and any diversity, but also consciously invests in xenophobia and tries to make part of the normality on our continent all that was inhuman, which was in the 1930s and 1940s. But is it forever? And this is a question for all of us. The answer is no! No! Europe! We protect ourselves from the most anti -European power of the modern world. We are protecting. We, Ukrainians, are on the battlefield with you.

I thank you for protecting ourselves together! And we must defend ourselves! And this is important not only for European countries. Not only for Europe communities. Whatever we may be, we always fight against neglect. Whatever we live, we always bet on integrity. No matter what we have dreamed of for our children, for our grandchildren, there is peace and safety for these dreams for our dreams.

Will all this be possible if you do not overcome the anti -European force that wants to steal with you, we all have Europe? No. Only our victory will guarantee all this - each of our common European values ​​with you.

Our mandatory victory! Dear representatives of Europe! Dear leaders of Europe! Dear ladies and gentlemen deputies! Dear employees of the European Parliament and other European institutions! Dear journalists! Dear security workers, military, police, rescuers! Dear municipal workers! Diplomats! Teachers! Professors! Scientists! Dear doctors, drivers and port workers! Farmers! Dear industrialists and workers of industrial enterprises! Business owners - small and big, banks! Dear energy and railways! Dear students, students! Trade union activists, representatives of public organizations! Dear directors and artists! Lawyers, judges, ecologists, human rights activists! The fate of Europe has never depended only on politicians.

There should be no such illusion now. Everyone and each of you are important. Everyone and each of you are strong. Everyone and each of you are able to influence our common result. On our common victory. These applause is definitely not me. These applause for gratitude - I want to thank you all in Europe, in hundreds of cities, towns, who supported Ukraine in this historical struggle. Thank you! I want to thank you - everyone who helped our people, our ordinary people, our displaced persons.

Who called for their leaders to increase support - support for the protection of these ordinary people. Who went out on the square, who asked the question of who was spreading the truth about Russian aggression. Who refrained from the temptations of Russian misinformation and who is near us in the fight for life. In the struggle for Europe. I thank you! I thank everyone who helps Ukraine with vital supply. Weapons and ammunition. Energy equipment and fuel.

Thousands of things that can not be able to withstand in this total war. Always protect the Ukrainian European Way of Life. You made bold decisions and strengthened the European ambition to be a home to justice and freedom. I remember the first days of a full -scale invasion when Russian ambition to break us and all of Europe was still bold.

When Russian aggression was just beginning to break their teeth on our defense. Even then, on March 1, on March 1, on the 6th day of a full-scale war, he approved a resolution with the support of not just our country, but the status of a candidate for joining the European Union for our country. It was a vision that motivated us to be stable and stay on our way. Thank you.

Today, at a meeting of the European Council, I will have the opportunity to personally thank the heads of state, the governments of Europe, whose decisions for this year really gave our continent the opportunity to do that the previous wave of leaders considered it impossible. Europe is finally released from the devastating dependence on Russian fossil fuel. Europe is cleared of corruption influence of Russian oligarchic business.

Europe is protected from infiltration of Russian special services agents that have considered Europe even as a place for hunting for opponents of the Russian dictatorship. For the first time in its history, the European Union provides military assistance of such a scale. And for the first time in history, I believe, a positive assessment of internal reforms in a European country, which is protected in this total war and at the same time, by fighting, modernizes its institutions.

We are approaching the European Union. Ukraine will be a member of the European Union! Ukraine that wins! A member of the European Union - the winning EU! Dear friends! Some people may have not yet felt the whole power of the European path - Europe Way of Life. And now we, together, Ukraine and the EU countries, have made our power obvious. Why is it possible? Because we combine the principle and energy.

We are all levels that we represent Europe and are conscientious that everyone is the leader of Europe in their particular life. We do not rely on words - we act. We do not fit in front of the enemy - we stand. We do not waste time - we change and we change. Europe will always remain free. While we are together and we take care of our Europe! We take care of the European Way of Life.
