The governor of Kaluga region Vladislav Kapsh reported that in the region "worked" aircraft, which shot down three unknown UAVs. According to the official, as a result of the fall of the wreckage of drones, there was a fire at an industrial facility, which was then promptly allegedly liquidated. Subsequently, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that eight drones in the Kaluga region were shot down as a result of "air defense".

At the same time, Russian Telegram channels wrote that local residents have heard a span of three drones in the area and a series of explosions in the refinery. In particular, the Channel "LCC-OGPU" reported that a local refinery and a factory were hit by UAV attack, and strong fires continued on the site. Also, the video with the fire was published by the head of the CPD at the NSDC of Ukraine Andriy Kovalenko.

He wrote that the Russian Kaluga "is under the attack of the UAV", and then in the next post wrote that "it burns well in Kaluga somewhat industrial. " Subsequently, Kovalenko added that the drones also attacked the Russian Typhoon plant.

According to him, this enterprise is connected with the Russian MIC and engages in the operation of radio electronic and opto-electronic equipment, the creation of components for rocket and aviation systems, the modernization of military equipment and related defense technologies. The Russian oil refining industry may lose the capacity of the Saratov refinery, which processes 7. 2 million tons of oil. The GUR drones were hit on the refinery on the night of November 8.
