The front is not affected: the expert told whether Ukraine should fire the Russian power system (video)

According to the SBU Explorer Ivan Stupak, it is unlikely that the winter 2023 - 2024 will be worse than last year. However, the destruction of energy infrastructure in a Russian city is not particularly important for Ukraine. Russian invaders adjust attacks in the territory of Ukraine under the deterioration of weather conditions in order to leave Ukrainians in frost without heat. In addition, the enemy actively "lands" in places of accumulation of military equipment.

This was reported by the Explorer of the Security Service Ivan Stupak on "24 online". According to the expert, Ukraine already has a backlash at almost two months compared to 2022. He recalls that the first shelling of the energy systems of last year began on October 10, 2022, and every week there were arrivals that destroyed Ukrainian energy objects. "Every Monday has arrived. There is no such thing now. Of course, there is air anxiety in different regions every day," the SBU expreient emphasizes.

Stupak also specified that on November 25, 71 of the 75 launched by the Russians were destroyed on November 25. "The occupiers planned this attack for the deterioration of the weather conditions that took place in Ukraine on November 26. They hoped to destroy energy infrastructure on the eve of frost and blizzards to freeze the Ukrainians. But the Russians failed," the expert said. According to him, it is likely that the winter of 2023 - 2024 will be worse than the past.

"The Russians began to adjust their attacks on weather conditions. If the weather in Ukraine is deteriorating, it is likely that hostile shelling will take place on the eve," Stupak said. According to him President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated, if shelling of the Ukrainian energy system, the Russian Federation will necessarily receive a response. Stupak noted that the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces will be of great benefit.

However, the destruction of energy infrastructure in some city of Russia, in the opinion will affect the situation on the front. It will bring a great profite to the Ukrainian military, ”Stupak said. We will remind, on December 1 at the occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP there was a complete blackout. In the evening, there was a break in the transmission line "Zaporizhzhya TPP - a 330 kV ferroallone", through which the NPP received power from the Ukrainian power system.
