The Russian Federation has placed three submarines in the Black Sea: experts talk about new tactics

Western observers noted that the mass exit of Russian submarine in the Black Sea is part of a wider operation that may include landing. On July 30, the Navy Navy command brought three submarines with winged "Caliber" rockets from the port of Novorossiysk into the Black Sea. This has caused the assumption of Ukrainian military analysts about the possible new maritime strategy of Moscow in the Black Sea region, Army Recognition reports.

The situation was commented by the spokesman of the Navy of the Armed Forces Dmitry Pletenchuk, who confirmed the report on the strengthening of Russian naval activity. He noted that this was the first case of Russia's deployment of three submarines with winged missiles that can operate in both the Azov and the Black Sea. The observers, for their part, noted the number of "calibers" aboard Russian submarine, each of which can carry up to 8 winged missiles.

This is interesting against the background of relatively passivity of the Russian Navy recently due to the systematic attacks of Ukrainian surface drones. Meanwhile, the current deployment includes advanced submarines of the 636. 3 of Warsawanka, which were actively used to launch the caliber crystal missiles for Ukrainian purposes. These submarines operate from Sevastopol and Novorossiysk, providing safety and recharge.

The unusual mass exit of these submarines from the base to Novorossiysk has caused several hypotheses. Some analysts suggest that it may be a training to check the crew readiness or precautions against potential threats by Ukrainian naval drone. There is also a version that these movements are part of a wider operation that may include landing for the purpose of creating a land bridge in the Transnistria region in Moldova.
