Similar to Chinese: a new type of shells appeared in the occupiers - an expert

Military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko believes that Russia could receive a license from China to produce a copy of their shells. Russian invaders began to use a new type of 122 mm of AF-56I-1 ammunition for shelling on the front. This was reported by military expert Alexander Kovalenko.

According to him, the appearance of these shells gave rise to a number of questions about their origin, especially the similarity of 122-mm selling and foot shells for Chinese howitzers Type 96, which are considered a copy of the Soviet D-30.

According to the expert, unlike Russian developers who have not made changes to the classic type of off-462 projectile, the Chinese not only have created a wide range of different types of fragmentation and fragmental shells, but also significantly improved their characteristics, in particular due to structural changes. The same changes are noticeable in the AF-56I-1 projectile.

However, according to the expert, it is likely that there is no discussion on the possible deliveries of shells from China to Russia. The expert notes that in Russia, the level of development of ammunition production industry, to put it mildly, has fallen. Probably, the Russian Federation has either received a license to produce a copy of 122-mm sharing and Fugas Figeling Type 96 shells from China, or somehow had access to their development and copied it.

"Direct deliveries from China are doubtful, but nothing can be excluded. Although, if they began, such shells would be in the database zone every second shot, taking into account the capabilities of the MIC of China," Kovalenko said. We will remind that in the area of Avdiivka of Donetsk region the assault of the invaders ended, and without starting. The fighters destroyed the infantry of the Russian Federation on the approach.
