Russia is ready to use political strife in Ukraine - Economist

The foreign publication indicates that political confrontation between leaders is becoming more intense in Kiev, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sees a competitor in the commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, although he does not demonstrate political ambitions. The Russian Federation is ready to take advantage of political differences in Ukraine, the rejection of elections during the war and disappointments about the success of the Armed Forces on the front.

About it reports the magazine The Economist. "Cracks arose not only on political lines, but that is most disturbing, between military and political leadership," the publication reads. A foreign journal points out that political confrontation between leaders is becoming more intense in Kiev, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sees a competitor in the commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, although he does not demonstrate political ambitions.

According to "The Economist", this can be used by the Russian Federation and its propaganda machine. Russia will also use the opportunity to spread propaganda and, unless elections in Ukraine are not held in a timely manner. Sources in Ukrainian intelligence say that the Russian Federation is already trying to use "ambitions and tensions".

According to the publication, the spokesman of the GUR Andriy Chernyak gave evidence that testify to new Russian strategies for different groups of the population: one of them is aimed at strengthening support in Russia, the other - to undermine confidence in the event, and the third - to strengthen dissatisfaction in Ukraine.

According to him, a separate misinformation campaign is being conducted for Ukrainian soldiers, namely, with fake videos that allegedly show how commanders of different levels encourage their subordinates to appear. "Russia could not do what it had to do on the battlefield, but here it achieved true success," the message reads. The high -ranking government source "The Economist" suggests that Russian propaganda has gained momentum because it has "game material".

The authorities noted that corruption still exists. Management is often ineffective. Ukraine has not prepared its economy for war. But only Russia wins if the President resigns. "Some of our politicians are not too concerned about the Russian threat, and it is angry. They think that they can fight for power, destroy Zelensky, and it will have no consequences," the interlocutor says.

According to him, since the beginning of the war, the security services have effectively eliminated the majority of Russian influence levers - and the most effective levers are now "Ukrainians themselves".
