More than upgrading: the Polish General Staff presented the Army Reform Plan

The Polish army departs only from the acquisition of a new weapon to changing the approach in the army. The key element of the armed forces is called a serviceman. In Poland, during the "restraint and strategic communication seminar", the General Staff presented the transformation of the Polish army. This is reported by Defense 24.

The army will be built in accordance with the Dotlmpfi principle: doctrine, organization, training, management, equipment, staff, infrastructure, operational compatibility. This means that Poland is departing from the exclusive purchase of new weapons. General Veslav Kukula noted that this is one of the first conclusions after his visit to the United States as Chief of General General.

In addition to the transformation of the Armed Forces, there are four more directions of work: they plan to make an approach to restraint according to the new model of new NATO forces. This means that the army will be divided into three categories before use. The first discharge has the highest readiness and ability to respond immediately to threats. The third is reservists who have to enter the active phase within 180 days.

General Kukula also mentioned that they mean the readiness and transformation for the Armed Forces of Poland. Battle readiness is the task of today, and transformation is the formation and maintenance of constant advantage over the enemy. The most important element in the army is called people, so they should manage changes. The Armed Forces must create a system of talent management so that the positions of soldiers are adapted to their competencies.

The system will look like American ASVAB, which is held by all military at the beginning of service. Priority for Poland for 2024-2039 remains aircraft and about, as well as balancing the Russian advantage in the missile defense system. And the units are added an unmanned and reconnaissance element, which should increase combat capability. We will remind, on February 20 in Poland criticized the EU for insufficient military assistance to Ukraine.
