In Brussels, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with the President of European Council Charles Michel. The key topic of negotiations is to present the Victory Plan. The head of the Ukrainian state noted that it is expected to be actively involved in the EU in its implementation. “It is very important for me to share our plan for victory with all the leaders who have helped us from the very beginning of a full -scale war.

Our plan on how to strengthen Ukraine so that it is ready for diplomacy, ”said Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Other issues discussed during the meeting include progress in the implementation of the Peace Formula, further defensive support from the European Union, as well as ensuring the stability of the Ukrainian economy and the financial system.

In particular, Ukraine expects that by the end of this month the decision will be implemented as limited to the G7 initiative with respect to 35 billion euros with the expense of income from frozen Russian assets.   "Now we need to find the right mechanism to get these funds as quickly as possible," the President said.

The head of state also stressed that Ukraine is ready to move as quickly as possible in the negotiation process on EU membership and accelerate the harmonization of its legislation with the norms of the European Union. Another topic of negotiations is to strengthen sanctions against the Russian Federation and its accomplices.

Volodymyr Zelensky noted that it is necessary to continue to combat sanctions through third countries and take strong steps on key sectors of the Russian economy and the shadow fleet. Charles Michelle stressed that the EU will stand on the side of Ukraine as much as it will be needed. “We know that you need more support - military and financial. As soon as possible.
