President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky notes that recent events in Russia have clearly demonstrated that the Russian president cannot be trusted, so there is no point in negotiating something with him, and all in the world should be realized. The Head of State stated this during an online participation in the Ambrosetti International Economic Forum in Italy.

According to Vladimir Zelensky, there are many signs that the Russian president is killing uncomfortable figures within his country, giving them public and non -public guarantees, and this testifies to Vladimir Putin's weakness. “That is, it speaks of the weakness of his word. This is, by the way, a very important point. All our partners need to pay attention to this. Is it possible to negotiate in principle with Putin? I think no. Under no conditions. Because he does not keep the word.

And not the question to whom he gives this word: to his terrorists or some political leaders within his country or from the outside. Putin cannot be trusted, and his word is worthless, ”the President of Ukraine emphasized. In addition, in his opinion, events in Russia indicate that Vladimir Putin does not trust the institutions of his state, does not act in accordance with its laws and is not yet sure that the radical part of Russian society will support him.

Also, during the answers to the question, Vladimir Zelensky noted that without the de -occupation of Crimea and Donbass, without the release of all temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories there will be no true sustainable peace either in Ukraine or throughout the European space. According to the Head of State, the issue of Crimea's de -occupation can be resolved by diplomatic or military means, but the latter will have a higher price.

“We are that Russian troops leave the peninsula without the pressure of our army because there will be fewer casualties. We keep our people. Now I only take care of my people, and let the Russians take care of President Putin, ”he said.
