Ukraine and the Russian Federation suffer great losses in Bakhmut battles - British intelligence (photo)

According to the department, the attack on the frontline city has become much less and is due to the depletion of the forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The occupiers are likely to focus on stabilizing their front line. The offensive of the Russian invaders on Bakhmut went into a dead end and is probably no longer in the city. This is stated on the UK Ministry of Defense in Twiiter in the British Intelligence Report on March 25.

For the words of experts, the attack of the enemy on the city in Donetsk region has become much less and is due to the exhaustion of the forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the report also mentions the fact that Ukraine in the city also suffers high losses.

"The situation of Russia is also probably deteriorating due to the tension in relations between the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Wagner group, which provide the troops with this sector," the report said. Russian invaders, apparently, shifted their focus to the city of Avdiivka, which is on the south side of Bakhmut. They also aimed at the Kreminna-Svatovo direction. In this way, the opponent will try to stabilize his front line.

"This involves a general return to a more defensive operational scheme after the unconvincing results of their attempts to draw a general offensive from January 2023," - summed up in British intelligence. It is worth noting that in a virtually destroyed city, which has been stormed by the occupiers for many months, there are at least 10,000 civilians trying to survive, as reported by the Reuters portal.
